The approach to letting at Selasih Manor

Write to us through the contact form or call. Include the room you are interested in, your preferred dates, and a brief note about the purpose of your visit. This helps us confirm whether the house is the right fit.
We confirm availability and deposit
We will respond within one working day with confirmation of availability and the deposit required to hold the dates. No booking is confirmed before a deposit is received.
Arrive and settle in
Check-in is arranged to suit your arrival time. The caretaker will show you the room, the house rules, and the fire exit. The remaining balance is settled on arrival or before, as agreed.
Accommodation One
South Wing Apartment
A self-contained apartment occupying the south wing of the house, comprising a sitting room, a separate bedroom with a queen bed, a writing alcove with a wide desk, a small kitchen, and a private bathroom. The apartment opens onto the south verandah, which catches the late afternoon light and is shaded in the early afternoon by the resident frangipani.
Suited to long-stay guests — academics on sabbatical, visiting professionals, or families during a transition between homes. The kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals without dependence on the house schedule. Minimum stay one fortnight.

Accommodation Two
East Room
A small, well-kept room on the east side of the main house, with a queen bed, a writing desk by the window, and a private bathroom. The room receives the morning sun and is shaded for the afternoon by the canopy of the rain tree at the front of the property.
Suitable for a single guest or couple staying three to seven nights. Rate includes a sit-down breakfast in the dining room and the use of the small library. The room is quiet during the afternoon and connected to the main house without feeling enclosed.

Accommodation Three
Garden Cottage
A compact freestanding cottage at the rear of the property, beside the kitchen garden, with a single bed in a sleeping alcove, a small sitting area, and a private bathroom. Often chosen by visiting writers and researchers for stays of several weeks at a time.
The cottage is plain and quiet, with a small terrace looking onto the garden where the resident cook works in the early morning. There is no shared wall with the main house. Rate assumes a minimum stay of seven nights.
