South Wing
A self-contained apartment occupying the south wing, with a sitting room, separate bedroom, writing alcove with wide desk, small kitchen, and private bathroom. Opens onto the south verandah, shaded in the early afternoon by the resident frangipani. Suited to academics, visiting professionals, or families in transition.

East Side
A small, well-kept room on the east side of the main house, with a queen bed, writing desk by the window, and private bathroom. Receives the morning sun and is shaded for the afternoon by the canopy of the rain tree at the front. Rate includes a sit-down breakfast in the dining room and use of the small library.

The Garden
A compact freestanding cottage at the rear of the property, beside the kitchen garden, with a single bed in a sleeping alcove, small sitting area, and private bathroom. Often chosen by visiting writers and researchers for stays of several weeks. A small terrace looks onto the garden where the resident cook works in the early morning.

The east sitting room holds a small collection of books left by previous guests and added to by the house over the years. East Room guests have daily use of it.
East Room guests are served breakfast in the dining room each morning. Simple, prepared from what the kitchen garden provides when possible.
The property has a maintained kitchen garden, a frangipani beside the south verandah, and a rain tree at the front. Guests are welcome to sit outside in the shade.
Wireless internet throughout the main house and cottage, suited to research work, remote work, and correspondence.
Jalan Mahameru sits within walking reach of Chow Kit market, the National Museum, and the KL Forest Eco Park. The LRT is a short walk.
The house is cleaned regularly. Any maintenance matter is attended to without delay. Guests are not left to manage things on their own.
